I was at the Boston Portuguese Consulate last Thursday and found about this really sweet program for those of you with heritage in the Azores.

It specifically says for Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Communications majors, and it is sponsored by the government. They just did a press release in Portugal releasing the program on March 5, and they seemed really excited about it... YOU SHOULD BE TOO. It's specifically for bringing American students or recent graduates to the Azores. They are offering 2 or 6 month internships (Great co-op opportunity!). 

I have messaged this information to the international coop office and will be contacting the appropriate people at the embassy abroad to find out more information on applying for this program.

Remember- they are accepting up to 4th generations, so take advantage of this awesome program if you can!!!
