"Innovation and knowledge," are the focal points of discussion at the Ibero-American Summit being held in Estoril, Portugal - a vacation town outside of Lisbon. Portugal is working on the stabilization of the political situation in Honduras. As mediator of the political conflict in Honduras, Portugal has not stated their opinion on the controversial election. By tomorrow, they are expected to be releasing their official position at the 19th Ibero-American Summit.
Portugal's Exterior Minister Luis Amado told press, "The goal of the Portuguese presidency is to find a common ground about the political situation of Honduras, not only in relation to the recent elections occurred in the country."
